Throne of Skulls Painting Challenge: Week 1

As I need to get my ass into gear I have already got a very large portion of the first weeks painting done, and it has been hell. This weeks task is to get 17 infantry painted, well I have 15 done, and I will start on the next 2 as soon as possible.

July 2015 Throne of Skulls: The Army list

You all may be wondering why I have been playing such odd points recently, 1875, a very strange points limit. Well its because they have been games in preparation for the July 2015 Throne of Skulls weekend event at games workshop Nottingham. Now the event will be using Mealstrom of war mission (hence the appearance of mealstrom of war missions recently) and all of the vehicles will count as having objective secured as well. So I'm expecting a lot of armour during the Event.

Renegades and Heretics vs Eldar 1875: Wraith host vs fanatics

This time I face off against the new Eldar codex, using my Renegades and Heretics I will come face to face with a Wraithhost of Iyanden. The game is a 1875 point game of mealstrom of war, and who will win, the forces of chaos or the undead forces of the Eldar?

After spending some time working on the eldar articles i though it was time i got back to painting my Renegades and Heretics as i am taking them to Throne of skulls in July. As the theme for the event is tanks, and all vehicles get objective secured i though i might as well get finishing my tanks.

As part of our narrative campaign finally the orks attack the Renegades of Ferrograd, as currently they have been busy fighting against the Elysian D-99 veterans. This is a 1875 point game using a mealstrom of war mission. Will the dread mob of the orks triumph over the forces of chaos?

Renegades and Heretics vs Necrons 1875: Steel phalanx

Rising from their tombs, the necrons attack a settlement of chaos renegades. Not wishing to displease their gods, the renegades go to war and attempt to repel the attackers. This is a 1875 point maelstrom of war game between my renegades and heretics fighting against a Necron force. Will the force of science or chaos win the battle?
