From failure to failure... Learning from past mistakes.

Over the series of my battle reports I have put learning points at the end of them as a way for me to hope fully improve my game/army list. However I haven’t really taken any notice of it. So today, I shall look over them all and see what I can create. This way I can start on my road to victory.

Slaughter in the morning... OnG vs High elves 2250

Finally got round to doing this again... after a very long brake I have finally started to record my games. This time round I’m going to take it a bit more seriously and actually make an army list that can take on armies and win, loosing all the time does get old really quickly. My aim is to get my army painted to a reasonable standard so in the new year I can go to my local Games workshop and try to get a bit more of a variety for you guys (all 3 of you) who read this. Regardless this is my new game...

New start... almost

I know, I know, I haven’t posted anything in ages... well suck it. I’m getting round to it. As I haven’t had many games of late I have gotten board and started tinkering around with other projects such as getting my gaming board looking good coz as you can see from previous battle reports its looking totally shit. But what I have done here is started making it look better. 

Its been a while so...

Now the warhammer has been a little scare these few weeks and i have been a bit lax in my painting and i apologise for this. To make up for now doing anything recently here is my WIP spider rider block.

I doubt they will be any good on the battle field but its more because i like forest goblins than anything else, and they will soon be joined by a good ol' shaman on arachnarok spider. So stay tuned (if there is any one watching that is. And one final thing. My WIP goblin bigboss/snaggla. Not sure which to use him as.

Blood in the forest... OnG vs High elves 2000pts

This week it’s once again Orcs and Goblins vs. the High elves, in another pitched battle... but don’t cry boring we have already seen it, because this time it’s at 2000 points. Yer, bet you never saw that coming. And we have a (in)famous character on the table this game, the high mage Teclis.

Battle of bone and blood. OnG vs Tomb kings 1500

This week saw a 1500 points game against the Tomb Kings which was quite a fun game with a few interesting turns.  Now I have played the odd game or two against them so nothing is especially surprising here but I have learnt to fear a few units in particular (now don’t laugh at me, low ld gobbos make you fear allot). 

Under Flame and sword... Battle report OnG vs High elves 1500

So me and my friends are attempting to get a weekly gaming night sorted, hopefully increasing the amount of battle reports i can write, unfortunately for out first one we ran into lots of problems so hardly had any time reducing our points down to 1500 to fit the game in. In my little gaming group we have 5 players (bit awkward but such is life) and we play Orcs and Goblins (me obv), Daemons (as you have already seen) High elves (from now on HE1), Tomb kings and finally another High elf (from now on HE2). The tomb king player couldn't make it this time so with 4 of us it would be a nice easy number.
