Eldar vs Blood angels 6000! Apocalypse

This isn't a battle report, just some photos of an Apocalypse game we played the other night. If we had written down what we did it would have made the 6 hour game 12 hours. I hope you can get the general idea of what happened. We played the apocalypse mission so had 6 objectives and in the end the eldar got a lucky victory with 1 objective to 0. Eldar In 6th edition - Rise of the phoenix?

With the release of 6th edition, and the whole new rule set it has made me wonder if some of the choices in the Eldar codex that where packed away (by me at least) will be useful. Having only played one game of 6th edition (battle report coming soon) it has made me think, yes. Granted this is all theory as 1 game is nothing to go by, but still, its nice to dream. So anyway, here is my brief glimpse a the phoenix lords.

First game of 6th... Eldar vs Blood angels 1000 points

I know i'm quite behind every one with posting my first battle report for 6th edition but its not my fault... GW posted my copy late and so i was knocked back from then on. And if that excuse isn't good enough, gutted for you. Anyway here is my Eldar against blood angels for a small game of 6th edition 1000 points, Hammer and Anvil, the relic.

Finally I got around to playing another game of 40k, probably my last for 5^th edition, so in a rather odd decision; I decided to carry on using my friend’s imperial guard instead of giving my elder one last hurrah. We will see; maybe I can get one more game for 5^th edition, But I highly doubt it. Anyway this was a 1500 game, imperial guard vs. Bike marines in a spear head annihilation game.
