Wraithknight W.I.P part 2

This is the current state of my wraithknight after i attacked it with a paintbrush again. He is slowly getting there, and is looking a lot better, but it is obvious i still need to do a lot of work to him. Next on my list to do on him is to go over the bone again, its very messy at the moment and i need to get it a nice even colour. The metal needs another highlight and wash.  The guns are a big thing to do but i will go over them again later on.

Tyranids 1500 list: Ignoring the rest of the internet!

I thought I would ignore the nay Sayers of the internet who say Tyranids suck, and have a go at creating my own tyranid list. And I’m happy with what I have made so far, I do want to try it out in the future, so I might borrow some tyranids from a friend of mine soon. The biggest thing that struck me about the new codex was that carnifex’s are cheap, very cheap, guess where this is going...

Wraithknight W.I.P

I will soon be taking part in an apocalypse game where each player has to bring a fully painted (or as close as) army with them so it looks a lot better than our last few apocalypse games. I have written a quick list, which is mostly tanks to cut down on the painting i have to do (cheating i know. All i have left to do is my wraithknight, so only 1 model to paint before the 28th of jan, not too bad. 

Tyranid codex: Review

I have seen a fair few reviews of this codex saying that they are bitterly disappointed and that the codex isn’t as good as it should be. While I can see why they are saying that, I have come to a rather different conclusion of my own. Granted the codex doesn’t have a big new shiny unit like the wraithknight or the riptide but I believe that the codex has its gems none the less.

Eldar vs Blood angels 1500: Deaths Decent

I was very nervous going to battle without my lord of war choice as I have relied upon it in the last few games a bit too much. Which is an odd feeling, considering how many games I have played before you could take lords of war I should be happy about it. In this game I came across a Blood Angels drop pod list, which is something I have never really faced before so a new challenge for me to face. The game was Emperors Will with vanguard strike deployment.

Evolving list: Back to Basics (No lord of war)

With my Lynx running rampant on the battle field it has made me want to take a step back and go back to a normal list, not using a lord of war. I am very aware that people will still be using them in battle, meaning that I have to prepare my force to take on a super-heavy should one appear.

Eldar vs Imperial Guard 1850... The Reaching Blade

Once again the Imperial Guard stray across the path of the Eldar and so they must pay, not only that but if they are allowed to carry on their course they will inadvertently bring upon great peril to the Dem-Kirath craftworld. They have to be destroyed. This report is an 1850 point game of Ultimate Linebreaker, Eldar vs Imperial guard.
