Starting Malifaux

Once again I have been distracted by another game, this time it’s Malifaux, a skirmish game where most of the characters have a fair amount of character. This is very different from what i normally go for, as i like to invent my own characters and this one has them all premade for you. I had been told it is similar to Warmachine which i tried to play a while ago, and it didn’t really catch on with me. This one though, hopefully will.

Dark Eldar vs Imperium 2500: Pain for All

With my Dark eldar force swelling with recent reinforcements I decided to use them in a larger game 2500 points to be exact, vs the Imperium of Man. As a change we use the maelstrom of war missions, and play Deadlock with vanguard strike deployment.

Inspiration from the Unexpected

While having a weekend away in London myself and my girlfriend visited the Making of Harry potter. IT was an enjoyable few hours but something rather unexpected happened while I was there, I got inspiration to play Mordheim again, but with a different setting in mind. While Mordheim is set in the city of the damned, it has had several different settings, and I would love to try and have a game or two set in the ruins of a giant castle. You will see why later.

Imperial Guard vs Inquisition and Knights (mechanicum proxie): The first blow

My first game in the escalation campaign and its against the combined forces of the Mechanicum (using an alliance of inquisition and knights to proxy it). As the game is only 600 points, we use a 4x4 city fight table, with purge the alien mission. Wish me luck.

Dark Eldar Reinforcements

Surprisingly a friend of mine has decided to get rid of his old dark eldar force in order to make some room for different models (probably imperial guard and his million fliers) and just gave me his models. Knowing I have an old 3^rd edition dark eldar force he knew I would happily accept as his models are all old school as well. So I thought I would show off the state of my dark eldar force as it is right now.

Space Wolves vs Grey Knights 1500: Duel for the Emperors favour

With the new release of codex space wolves, i had to give them a spin and the grey knights ended up being my opponent. Obviously my wolf lord has come under the eye of an inquisitor who isn’t too happy with his conduct and has sent in the big boys to deal with him. The game is a 1500 point game of crusade, with hammer and anvil deployment.
