Thone of Skulls Game 1: Renegades vs Ravenguard

 Game 1 of the July throne of skulls event and my renegades and heretics take on the forces of the Ravenguard aided by an armoured company. Its a very compact and hard hitting list so I will need to make my numbers count if I am to win.

Armies of Throne of skulls July 2015

As a precursor to the battle reports I thought I would show you all a few of the armies that I was able to take pictures of during the July 2015 Throne of skulls event. Some of the armies were beautifully painted and really put mine to shame, making me want to try and up my painting game. Unfortunately I only have a few pictures of the armies as practically all of my games took the full time allowance so I didn’t get much time to take pictures but I have a couple.

Full age of sigmar board, with unreleased terrain?

This weekend i was at warhammer world and noticed they had a fair few Age of Sigmar tables around for you to play on. They were made up of the same 3 or 4 tiles so i have taken a couple of pictures to show you what they look like and it even shows some possible terrain releases for the future. I didn't think much about it at the time so i only took a picture or two.

It just seems odd they would have them with out releasing them for purchase, so maybe its a future release? what do you guys think?

Throne of Skulls Painting Challenge: Complete!

Finally the challenge is complete and my whole army is painted, with the objectives as well! I am bloody amazed that its done but I’m happy that I get to take this army to throne of skulls. Hopefully I should get a few good battle reports in as well in the deal.

Throne of Skulls Painting Challenge: Week 5

This week I finished off the other soulgrinder and my plan was to finish off the medusa and its crew. Unfortunately plans don't always come together. But at least something got done.

Throne of Skulls Painting Challenge: Week 4

This week’s aim was to get two soul grinders finished, and I was a bloody idiot thinking that I could get two of these monsters done it in a week. I am happy with what I have done but they aren’t finished.

Throne of Skulls Painting Challenge: Week 3

This week’s aim was to get 20 plaguebearers and the Herald of Nurgle painted. I didn’t have an real idea on how I was going to do this. Looking online I decided on a colour scheme that was very different from the renegades and heretics, a very different way of painting for a very different look. By having a different look, something that was hopefully going to be a bit ethereal, so the daemons didn’t look like they were quite there. Unfortunately this didn’t quite work out but I hope you guys like what I have done.
