War walker WIP

As said a while ago now, the next eldar models to get painted where going to be the war walkers. Well over the last few days i have had a little time to work on them and now they are a bout 60% done. I still need to finish the guns, the pilots head, the base, and a few little bits and bobs. But still i'm happy with what i have for now.

Rumble of the Engine... Eldar/Dark eldar vs Orks 1500

Second game at my gaming club and again I'm up against orks. A different player this time round, a guy named Dave, who was trying out a tournament list for an up an coming tournament he is going to. It’s a good test for my list so I was more than happy to play him. Its 1500 points, Big guns never tire, vanguard strike, 4 objectives. We played on a beautiful ice table, it was a nice change.

Fun with Eldar: Guardians

Last week when i was at my local gaming club (battle report this Friday) when the game was finished a few people came over and asked me about my army choice as my wriathstar army was rather unusual for the area. While I was more than happy to explain my choices, including taking dark eldar allies (some people really dislike this idea... but that’s another story) and my unit choices. As the conversation carried on it all boiled down to one unit, the humble Eldar Guardians. 

40,000 views

Well i finally hit 40,00 page views, and it's just flown by. I can remember when i started this blog i was struggling to get 10 page views a week but its been worth it so far. While i'm no where near done with this blog it's a good motivator to carry on.

So what does that mean for my blog now? As of right now? nothing. I'm going to try and carry on with what i have been doing as well as adding a little bit of dark potential. I need to get my ass into gear painting, but i might be attending a little 1250 tournament next month so i better get a list for that sorted.

Lord of Storms... Dark eldar/Eldar vs Blood angels/Guard 2500

Back to the 40k, I know we have had a little dark potential, but this is why you are here. Now a friend of mine bought a storm lord a while back after playing a game of apocalypse. He has never used it but has wanted to and has been asking me for some time now to use it. I finally caved in and took the challenge to fight against it.

Dark Potential competition Entry

Currently miniwargaming are having a competition for designing a Dark potential scenario. Here is my attempt at one, so let me know what you think.

Dark Potential

Dark potential is a up and coming table top game set in a post apocalyptic version of earth in the 24^th century. It’s currently in its beta tests and has been created by mini wargaming. From what they have so far it’s a very exciting game.

White Dwarf February 2013 - Review

                                

I know it’s a lot later than usual but I will share this review with you all anyway. Not that anyone cares that much but it’s not my fault, the place I normally get my WD from didn’t stock it still a few days into feb... I have no idea why, just happened. Any one else noticed these have disappeared from the GW site? Does this mean we have some sort of re-release in the future? or are they just ditching it now?

Either way i'm not happy. Any one know anything?
