I tested out my two lists for the
tournament against two totally difference armies. My first game is the
wraithlord list vs imperial guard and the second game is wave serpent list
against blood angels. Both games are on the same 4 x 4 table with just a few
bits of terrain to make it a fair test, as i can't grantee what the
tables will look like. This is the first game of the two.

1000 Point Tournament: reviewing the army list
With the tournament getting every closer i keep getting worried whether or not my army list is good enough to be able to hold its own against the other armies out there. I am going to be taking eldar, pure eldar at that, as its only 1000 points. Is this list any good though? click and let me know what you think.

Waaagh! of change... Orks/Chaos space marines vs Blood angels 1500
To make a bit of a change I thought I would have a game without my
eldar and instead would take a fun army list using my orks with an allied force
that haven’t used before, chaos space marines. I take on the blood angels in a
2000 point game of the emperors will with dawn of war deployment.

Colossal project: First time pinning
So this squig has been a real learning curve for me, forcing me to try a few new things to just put the model together! i can only wait to see what paining the bugger will uncover. But i'm getting ahead of myself. After i put it together and used liquid greenstuff (see yesterdays post) i tried to stick the squig to the base. This didn't end well.

Colossal project: Playing with liquid green stuff
I have a bit more progress on my colossal squig, not much, but a little. I have started using liquid green stuff to fill the gaps between his legs. Now i have never used any form of green stuff before, let a lone liquid. Many years ago i experimented with milliput but i sucked so bad at it i gave up with it. But this liquid green stuff has be quite amused.

1000 Point Tournament: preparing my army list
I have just entered into a 40k tournament; i have never been to a 40k tournament
before so i’m looking forward to the experience. The only issue with it is that
its only a 1000 point tournament so i need to scale back my armies to fit in,
which if you look at my current list (wraithstar) that wouldn’t work so well.
With that immovable obstacle in my way i need to approach this in a different direction,
so its army list time.

Relic of Blood... Eldar/Dark eldar vs Blood angels 1500
This game was a nice change for me, it was a mission I hadn’t played
in a while, it wasn’t big guns never tire. I know this seems petty but its been
a while since I had a different mission. The game was the relic with hammer and
anvil deployment against blood angels 1500 points. Can my wraithstar army take
on the angels of death?

Evolving list: An overdue change
Its been a while since i reviewed my army list in any major way, over a month now, so i would like to go over it again and see what i can do to improve it. Looking back over the last month i have had a mixed bag of results with the list, so before i go crazy and rip it apart i'm going to look at it and see its strengths and weaknesses.

War walkers: Completed
The time has finally come, the war walkers are complete. Its only taken me 4 months of not doing anything for them to finally be done. Then i realise i have 1 more in a box some where and then i need to repaint the old 2. But such sad thoughts are for another time.

Dark Angel Devastation... Eldar/Dark eldar vs Dark angels 1500
The dark angel’s codex has been out for a while now and I hadn’t
played against it until now. Again I was at the gaming club and I got to play
against them (a change from orks). I swear It’s not a fix, but we rolled the
mission ‘big guns never tire’ (4th game in a row) with dawn of war
deployment. So it’s 1500 points, Eldar/dark eldar vs Dark angels.

Standard of devastation: Definition of a boltgun?
Recently i have come across quite an interesting little rule blip if you will with regards to the Dark angels standard of devastation. When i first read the rule for it i though it was very clear, all boltguns in 6 inches become salvo 2/4. That's very clear. However what is a boltgun?

White dwarf March 2013 - Review
Another month goes by, and yet again I’m late with the white dwarf
review. One day i will be on time with it, probably. So what does this month
has in store for us? Well new daemons for both 40K and fantasy.

Assault the landing pad... Eldar/Dark eldar vs Imperial guard 1500
For the third game in a row i have a big guns never tire game with
vanguard strike deployment. I assure you we do roll to randomly determine this,
I’m not just making it up. In this game of it i am against imperial guard 1500
points as normal. He decided he was going to give me an ass whooping so brought
what he described as a tournament list. So game on...
