Eldar Vs Flyers: Options Available

The skies darken with monsters on leathery wings, hunting anything it can get its claws on. Missiles and bullets scream from hi-tech flying machines cutting swathes of men down where ever they pass. What tools can the Eldar bring to the fore in order to combat such threats with their new codex? Not that much is all I can say, but let’s have a little look shall we?

The monstrous devourer... Eldar vs Tyranids 2000

This game came about when a friend of mine purchased a lot of tyranid monsters on ebay for a very VERY small price. So he challenged me to a game of 2k points so he can test out his bugs, and I took the opportunity to test out a few more units in the Eldar codex which I haven’t played with yet. The game was Emperors will, with hammer and anvil deployment.

Warmachine game 3: Menoth vs Khador 15 points

This weeks game of warmachine is a 15 point game vs khador. I was rather worried about this game as it had a lot of models on the table. While I don’t know what it really is I have heared bad things about the khador ‘winter guard deathstar’ which I will be facing.

White Dwarf July 2013 - Review

 

Apocalypse, this month is all about the re-release of the 40K expansion Apocalypse. While this doesn’t exite me anywhere near as much as the release of codex Eldar last month, it’s still giving me a little tingle. Are you into large battles with towering warmachines that dwarf even a mighty monolith? Then apocalypse could be the game for you. Anyway what’s in this month’s mag?

Feora, protector of the flame. Finished.

Today i finally got around to finishing off epic Feora for my Menoth force. I wanted to get her done now so at least a single model is painted for my next game of warmachine. I am not 100% sure about her cape, i was going to do it a lighter blue for i'm not sure. I can always go back to finish her off if i need to in the future.

Iyanden Supplement - Review

It took a while for the hard copy of the Iyanden supplement to come out after the digital copy was released, but I finally got my hands on one. I know a lot of people have done this already but I just wanted to throw in my take on the book out there. 

Broken Empire's... Eldar vs Tau 1750 points.

My second game with the eldar codex and this time instead of carrying on the evolving list, I thought that I would just use some different units to see how they do. It’s probably best doing it that way for a few games to see the strengths and weaknesses that each unit possesses that isn’t immediately obvious in the rules. Facing my Eldar is the Tau Empire, in a 1750 point game of purge the alien, with hammer and anvil deployment.
