And Again I face another Tau army, at least this one is different from the same one I thought the last two times. However its going to take some luck do any anything to his Supremacy battle suit. Its a 2k game of Eldar vs Tau with tactical Escalation (again).

Renegades vs Tau 2k: Allies from Beyond

In an experiment I try out a new list, involving Daemonkin as well as renegades and I'm once more playing against Tau. The mission is Tactical Escalation with hammer and anvil deployment.

X-Wing Store Championship: My first go

After playing about 4 games of X wing I entered a store tournament with a list that I have used in a couple of games (as I have a very limited model collection) and entered with the aim of not coming last, and with 15 other people this was going to be a large ask as I think they all have a lot more experience playing.

Space Wolves vs D99 and Militarum Tempestus 2000: Barking at the Sky

In this game I bring out the Space wolves for a change and take on a force of Elysian D99 and Tempestus militarum in a game using the new tactical supremacy cards to try them out. To keep it simple we do a 2000 point game of cleanse and control to give the cards a fair chance.

Don't Suffer Alone

This is rather off topic but I feel its a rather important post all the same, and I wanted to share with all of you. A few days ago I found out that a friend of mine decided to end her life, apparently she has suffered with depression for a very long time and finally lost her battle, and decided to end it. A massive hole has been left in all who knew her and I feel like I need to write this post so that it might help some one in the future. Please read though what I have to say, it might not help you, but it might help some one you know.

Eldar vs Tau 2k: Ambush the Hunter

The Farsight Enclave have been found on a maiden world, something which can not be tolerated. Attacking what appears to be a small Tau outpost, the Eldar bring their full force to bare and get ambushed by the Farsight and his crisis suits. The game is a 2000 point Mealstrom game of Cleanse and Control with vanguard strike deployment.

Renegades vs Mechanicum 2000: Outskirt Raid

The Outskirts of Ferrograde aren't heavily defended and are an ideal place to raid. The forces of the Mechanicum are attacking one such area and the defenders of Ferrograde, the Renegades of the Hereteks, must defend their territory against the onslaught. This is a game of Contact lost, can the power of man and daemon take on the power of the machines?

Renegades vs Knights 1500: Stomp to Victory

My second game with my renegade evolving list, and I face an Army of the Imperium, made up of a Knight detachment and help from the Militarum Tempestus detachment. Can my renegades take on the knights or will then just get trampled underfoot?

Rotwater Blight Game 5: Orcs vs Dwarfs

Old adversaries meet once more to settle grudges and avenge ancient wrongs. The Final game of Throne of skulls and the mission is War of Storms against a force of Dwarfs. We have to kill the general and hope the winds of fate blow in our favour.

Imperial Armour Review Part 2: Eldar Corsairs

Part 2 of the Review and we move onto the Eldar Corsair army list. As a brief overview, the army is a very fast army (more so than dark or craftworld eldar) and has a mixture of options available from the other two kin books. If you ever though “my Dark eldar are too slow and too resilient” then Corsairs are the force for you.

Rotwater Blight Game 4: Orcs vs Seraphon

Game 4 and its against the Seraphon again but this time its more than just skinks. The game is Beast hunt with the orcs hunting down a Great Lizard beast.

Rotwater Blight Game 2: Orcs vs Stormcast and Empire & Game 3

The second game of the Throne of skulls event and its the Ritual vs Stormcast Eternals with Empire support. My orcs must defend the ritual while the stormcast try to prevent it. Also its a bit of a double report in a way as i have also tagged on game 3 to the bottom of the report as well. 

Finished Giant

Before Throne of skulls I attempted I paint my giant and in the photos I showed that my giant was a W.I.P. But I did manage to finish painting the big ol' bugger and though I would share it with you all as i'm quite happy with out it came out, not Golden Daemon, but im happy.

Rotwater Blight Game 1: Orcs vs Sylvaneth

The first game at Rotwater blight and its Hold or die against a Sylvaneth force. As we have special rules for the games my orcs become followers of Nurgle for this game, well they are green so that's close enough I guess.

Throne of Skulls Rotwater Blight: Armies

I'm back from my first Age of Sigmar Event and as is customery I though I would share with you as many of the armies that I could take photos of for you. Over all I think it was an enjoyable event but it had a few kinks that need to be worked out before I could say its a good event. As can be expected we had a lot of armies from the currently released armies (khorne, seraphon, sylvaneth) and a few different themes on others.

Throne of Skulls: Orc List for Rotwater Blight

I am attending the Age of Sigmar Event: Rotwater Blight tomorrow (at time of posting) so I though that I would share with you all the army that I will be taking. As the conditions for any Games workshop event is everything must be painted and based, I decided to take my Orcs, as they weren't any where near done and it would give me a good kick up the arse to paint them. So here they are, Grimgore's Ard'boyz.

As its the end of the Year I thought I would have a look back on what I have done so far on the blog this year and compare it to the previous ones. This is more of an introspective post but I will probably have a few questions about the blog I would greatly appreciate you answering (skip to the bottom if you want to just help and see the questions).
