Council of War june 14: Game 1 Eldar vs Ultramarines 1500

My first game of the Event and my Eldar face off against Ultramarines in a game of Emperors will with dawn of war deployment. While his list doesn’t look too intimidating it does include 2 fliers which could be a massive problem for me.

Council of War June 14 – Forces present

Council of war has come and gone and in my opinion it was a blast. This was my first event at Games workshop Hq and if you guys are able to go to one, I would say go as it was a great weekend and well worth your time. I thought I would share some pictures of the armies that took part in the event. One person even dressed up as a sister of Battle!

With Council of War fast approaching I thought I would show you all what I have finally decided on taking. I followed the advice you all gave me for the 1500 point list and dropped the one I tested out for something a little more conventional. Eldar vs Maynark Necrons 1500: Tournament practice 1

In preparation for Council of War I test out one of my possible tournament lists vs the necrons of the Maynark dynasty (forgeworld rules) in a 1500 point game of purge the alien. Who will win this fight to the death? The Ancient mechanical Necrons or the Dying Eldar? Old foes battling once more.

With my first Tournament of 7^th coming up soon I have come up with 2 lists, one of which I am more comfortable playing with, but I’m not 100% sure which to use. A stipulation of the tournament is that every model must be painted and must represent what it is, so no proxies (it is at warhammer world after all).

Eldar vs Space wolves 1500: Prize Fight

Out side an Imperial shrine the Eldar ambush the Space wolves in this 1500 point game of Emperors will with Vanguard strike deployment. Two legendary fighters grace the battle field, the Great wolf himself Logan Grimnar and Craftworld Dem-Kirath’s Avatar of Khaine! If those two combatants meant surely stories will be born of the outcome.
