Norse Blood Bowl Team

I know that Blood Bowl isn't very popular right now but never the less I have painted up a team for me to use for the rare occasion that i might want to play a game. So i would like to introduce you all to me new team, The Old World Eaters! Now here are a few more pics after the jump.

Necromunda Survival: Game 1, Scavanger Hunt

Finally the first game of the Necromunda Campaign is here, its been quite a while in the planning so I hope it doesn't disappoint. To kick it off we are playing the scenario Scavenger Hunt, as our few survivors go out looking for supplies to stay alive, food, bullets, anything that might be useful. For those of you who haven't read the background, or the scenario rules click here.

Necromunda Survival: The first Survivers

Before I write up the battle report for the First game of the Survival Campaign, I though I would share with you the starting survivors and I would be interested in finding out what you though of them. 4 different gangs have made it so far, and must work together in order to continue surviving.

Necromunda Survival: Exploration part 2

I have spent some time since the last necromunda post thinking about what I should do for the 6 of a kind results when exploring. I have talked to the players as well as taking on board what you guys have suggested and I think the results are characterful, relatively powerful while not game braking and fun (hopefully). So I would like you guys, the whole 4 of you who read this, and let me know what you think and how I can balance them.

Necromunda Survival: Injury and Exploration

Over the course of the mini campaign I intend to injure the survivors as much as possible, but the existing serious injuries chart isn't quite right for what I need. Also I will be adding in an exploration phase. For those of you who haven't read over my previous post on this click here.

Bending the Rules: Making up your own Game

Recently I have been talking about Necromunda and getting into playing that. However before we do, I had the idea of using the rules of the game for something a little different. We can take the basic rules of the game, and then twist them a little to make something new, and hopefully fun. So what I have proposed to my friends is that we play the basics of Necromunda, but we set it somewhere else, and a few things will be a little different. In this game, the gangs won't be fighting for territory, they will be fighting for survival.

Necromunda Gang: Attempt 1

With games of Necromunda coming up soon I though I should probably work on getting a gang together. Going through everything I finally decided that I would just use my chaos renegades as the models, as well, they are painted and I have a large enough variety of them to make a varied and characterful gang. And as they are all rather chaos looking, I decided the only way they could survive in any imperial hive is though stealth and under handedness, so I will be using the Delaque rules.

Looking at Necromunda

With people playing Gorkamorka at the club, it got us talking about other old specialist games and the topic of Necromunda came up. Out of the specialist games I only played inquisitor and Mordheim, both of which I though were brilliant. With this in mind I decided to look though the old rules for Necromunda, after purchasing the hardback rules for the first edition of Necromunda. In our discussions it appeared there was very little rules difference, but a few people preferred the first edition over the second. As I have never played Necromunda I though it could be a fun game to play in the future, especially if its any where near as good as Mordheim.
