Eldar vs Tau 2k: Supreme Firepower

And Again I face another Tau army, at least this one is different from the same one I thought the last two times. However its going to take some luck do any anything to his Supremacy battle suit. Its a 2k game of Eldar vs Tau with tactical Escalation (again).

Eldar vs Tau 2k: Ambush the Hunter

The Farsight Enclave have been found on a maiden world, something which can not be tolerated. Attacking what appears to be a small Tau outpost, the Eldar bring their full force to bare and get ambushed by the Farsight and his crisis suits. The game is a 2000 point Mealstrom game of Cleanse and Control with vanguard strike deployment.

Renegades vs Mechanicum 2000: Outskirt Raid

The Outskirts of Ferrograde aren't heavily defended and are an ideal place to raid. The forces of the Mechanicum are attacking one such area and the defenders of Ferrograde, the Renegades of the Hereteks, must defend their territory against the onslaught. This is a game of Contact lost, can the power of man and daemon take on the power of the machines?

My second game with my renegade evolving list, and I face an Army of the Imperium, made up of a Knight detachment and help from the Militarum Tempestus detachment. Can my renegades take on the knights or will then just get trampled underfoot?

Last weekend I had a little but of free time so we had a quick game of 40k as it has been quite a while since I last played. As we only had a few hours we decided to play a small, 750 point game with a custom mission based on outpost we played in the Planetstrike game from a while ago. Its Dark eldar vs Militarum Tempestus both trying to capture a Imperial Bastion.

A new guy has started coming to the gaming club and was after a 1500 point game of 40k, so I gladly obliged with the renegades as I'm enjoying using them at the moment. He brought out dark eldar and we played a mealstrom of war game. I'm out of practice facing fast forces.

Imperium vs Chaos 4000 points: Planetstrike!!!

Every now and then you get the urge for a big game of 40k. This time we decided it should be a planetstrike game, as we haven't yet tried the newer rules that came out not so long ago. Its 4000 points a side. We have a chaos held world being assaulted by the Imperium of Man, can my renegades hold the planet or will the defences fall?

For the last game of the Throne of Skulls event my renegades come across a craftworld warhost eager to destroy the forces of chaos they come across. Its a game of contact lost for the last game.

Throne of Skulls Game 4: Renegades vs Tau

For my forth game of the event I draw an opponent with a beautifully painted Tau force, on the table of krieg. Looking at this force my heart drops, running at a tau army is bad enough, but one with 4 riptides?!? At least the table gives me a bit of help, giving units poison in the game. Game 1, Game 2 and Game 3.

Throne of Skulls Game 3: Renegades vs Steel host

My third game of the first day and my renegades face an imposing force, a Steel Host Formation. As the event is based around armoured forces this army fits the bill perfectly, and I did think a few people might take an army like this. It doesn't mean I am prepared to face it though, but on the up side we are fighting on the Vraks table, so its fluffy, renegades vs guard. Throne of Skulls Game 2: Renegades vs Deathwing

Game 2 and I get drawn against another space marine list, this time its a unbound force of Deathwing made up of a formation and additional Chaplin from what I can tell. With his force only having 32 models in it I outnumber him over 4 to 1, which is a rather large advantage to me. For the report of Game 1 click here.

 Game 1 of the July throne of skulls event and my renegades and heretics take on the forces of the Ravenguard aided by an armoured company. Its a very compact and hard hitting list so I will need to make my numbers count if I am to win.

Eldar vs Elysians 1875: The Swordwind

The new Codex has hit so I thought I would test them out against my friends Elysians in a 1875 point game of maelstrom of war. And as a big change I only use formations for my army, no combined arms detachment for a change.
