As a precursor to the battle
reports I thought I would show you all a few of the armies that I was able to
take pictures of during the July 2015 Throne of skulls event. Some of the
armies were beautifully painted and really put mine to shame, making me want to
try and up my painting game. Unfortunately I only have a few pictures of the
armies as practically all of my games took the full time allowance so I didn’t
get much time to take pictures but I have a couple.
This event had a theme, it was called steel fury and all vehicles gained the objective secured rule as well as being able to take an upgrade from a list for free. This meant we had a lot of vehicles and many units which were designed to take them out. Anyway here are a few of the armies.
|
Eldar, mainly on foot |
|
Eldar with a lot of wraiths |
|
A more conventional eldar list |
|
Warhound titans are vehicles too |
|
Dark eldar with Eldar allies |
|
A full armored company |
|
Knights with scions |
|
A beautifully painted Tau force with 4 riptides |
|
Blood angels |
|
More knights |
|
More Eldar |
In the Event we had a lot of knight armies and armies with a knight detachment. Also Eldar really had the numbers. Unsurprisingly chaos had very low numbers, with 2 chaos daemon lists, 2 chaos space marines and myself with renegades and heretics.
While I have you I would like to apologise
for the lack of posts recently, I have just moved house and that is taking up
all of my time at the moment so I don’t have the battle reports written up yet.
Hopefully I can start doing it soon, so keep coming back, I will hopefully
start soon.
Thanks for the pics. Looks rather intimidating. Cannot wait to see how you did.
