First attempt at Eldar 6th edition

In the past I had a running list which i attempted to evolve with each few games to improve it to be a reasonably good list. Well now its time to start all over again with the 6th edition codex. Now the codex has changed quite a bit, so this list is rather different from my old evolving list. But i think it will be a fun little journey to go on again.

Codex Eldar: Do we need farseers?

Now i have been trying to write a new list that i am happy with using the new codex, and right now i am struggling. I keep trying to slip back into my old army which just wont work right now. I want to just use a pure eldar force for the time being, and its hard breaking old habbits. The biggest issue i am having is, do i really need a farseer?

Codex Eldar: First Impression

I have gotten a hold of the new codex and after reading over it somewhat, I am a little surprised at what I found. This isn’t a review, just the first impression I got from the book. I may do a few reviews on the different force organisation slots in the future, but I’m not 100% sure yet. Anyway onto what I found...

Firing line... Space wolves vs Tau 1000

After about 2 months of messing around, my friend finally got his Tau got delivered from Total Wargamer, it’s a stupid site who can’t communicate with customers or deliver in a reasonable time. With his models finally here we had a 1000 point game of The Relic, with Hammer and Anvil deployment. Space wolves vs the New tau codex, let’s see what the new boys can do...

First game of Warmachine: Protectorate of Menoth vs Cryx

The escalation league kicked off and my first 15 point game was against a Cryx army, simple mission, just kill the warcaster. Now this isn’t a battle report, just what I came away from the game with. While I have never played a proper game of warmachine before I have read over the rule and I thought I knew what I was doing, I was wrong. 

Wraithguard finished

Finally i have finished the Wraithguard, and just before the new Eldar codex as it turn out. Took me long enough. So whats next on my painting desk? Not 100% sure yet, but probably the colossal squig, that really does need finishing. After that back to Eldar with some of the new kits.
