40K at the Forge: Game 1 Eldar vs Eldar

To start the tournament we all were given a random opponent and assigned a random table, each table being totally different, some with a large amount of terrain, others with little to none, just the luck of the draw, so

you can’t complain really. My first opponent was randomly selected and I was up against Eldar... well isn’t that just a kick in the nuts.

40K at the Forge 2013: Overveiw

Sisters steal the marine defences!

This is the first post i will put out for the 1000 point tournament that i attended  I am not 100% sure if it has a proper name but i'm going with '40K at the Forge 2013' as that's whats on all the paper work. Creeping Rot... Eldar/Dark eldar Vs Deathguard chaos space marines 1500

I dropped into the gaming club again and played against Dave, a brilliant painter whose orks I have played against before but he had his chaos space marine army with him this time round. So we played 1500 points, Purge the alien, vanguard strike deployment.

Tournament practice game 2

Well this is the second practice game for the tournament but I used a different list. This list revolved around fire dragons instead of wraithlords. This one is against blood angels.

White dwarf April 2013 - Review

It’s that time of the month again, white dwarf is here. This month its there 400^th issue, so as they have told us this, I expect they have something new in store for us to celebrate this rather impressive achievement.

1000 point tournament: Practice game 1

I tested out my two lists for the tournament against two totally difference armies. My first game is the wraithlord list vs imperial guard and the second game is wave serpent list against blood angels. Both games are on the same 4 x 4 table with just a few bits of terrain to make it a fair test, as i can't grantee what the tables will look like. This is the first game of the two.

1000 Point Tournament: reviewing the army list

With the tournament getting every closer i keep getting worried whether or not my army list is good enough to be able to hold its own against the other armies out there. I am going to be taking eldar, pure eldar at that, as its only 1000 points. Is this list any good though? click and let me know what you think.
