Shadow ambush... Eldar vs Blood angels 1500

Once again its Eldar vs Blood angels 1500 points in a pitched battle in a capture and control game. Like I said two weeks ago, I tried out my ‘strikefrom the shadows list’ just to see if it could possibly hold its own or show signs of potential if I tweaked it a little. Traitor Imperial Guard

In the 40k universe most of the fighting done by the imperium of man is against other humans, traitors, heretics and just rebellious folks that the imperium of man wants to put its big old boot on and squash. They can’t be doing with any girly reasoning, you like it, or get killed. Now this happens on many scales, from skirmishes between the enforcers and local heretics on a hive world, to corrupted governors waging war on neighbouring worlds.

A future in cities of death

I have always had a soft spot of the look of battles taking place in cities. In fact I have always like the idea of having battles on very specific terrain sets, jungles, deserts and of course cities. But the city fight idea has always stuck to with me.  When the book battlefield: cityfight came out I was overjoyed, the prospect of desperate struggles in ally ways, a small band of models taking on a tank face to face only to get run over, snipers stalking the roof tops looking for targets, its just a fascinating idea.

Strike from the shadows: A new perspective on the Eldar army list

A few weeks ago I email fritz the following question:where do you get your ideas and inspiration from. His reply was not quite what I expected. To paraphrase what he said, he picks an idea, something that interests him and just builds the list and tactics around that. Now this may not be something new or awe-inspiring stuff to some people but to me it seems like an interesting challenge.

An unlikely alliance... Blood angels + Tyranids vs Imperial guard + Eldar

In an unlikely alliance, the Tyranids and blood angels team up to take out the elder and imperial guard. Let’s ignore the fluff impossibility here and just run with it. 1250 points a race, so it’s a 2v2, 2500 points, spearhead, annihilation (again).

Craftworld Dem-Kirath

In a lot of my battle reports I have used my eldar army but only shown the models fleetingly and with out much description. So this week I though I would give you all a bit of a show case of my painted units and a little background. It’s just a small peak, and the more I paint, the more you will see.
