X-Wing Store Championship: My first go

After playing about 4 games of X wing I entered a store tournament with a list that I have used in a couple of games (as I have a very limited model collection) and entered with the aim of not coming last, and with 15 other people this was going to be a large ask as I think they all have a lot more experience playing.

Space Wolves vs D99 and Militarum Tempestus 2000: Barking at the Sky

In this game I bring out the Space wolves for a change and take on a force of Elysian D99 and Tempestus militarum in a game using the new tactical supremacy cards to try them out. To keep it simple we do a 2000 point game of cleanse and control to give the cards a fair chance.

Don't Suffer Alone

This is rather off topic but I feel its a rather important post all the same, and I wanted to share with all of you. A few days ago I found out that a friend of mine decided to end her life, apparently she has suffered with depression for a very long time and finally lost her battle, and decided to end it. A massive hole has been left in all who knew her and I feel like I need to write this post so that it might help some one in the future. Please read though what I have to say, it might not help you, but it might help some one you know.

Norse Blood Bowl Team

I know that Blood Bowl isn't very popular right now but never the less I have painted up a team for me to use for the rare occasion that i might want to play a game. So i would like to introduce you all to me new team, The Old World Eaters! Now here are a few more pics after the jump.

Eldar vs Tau 2k: Ambush the Hunter

The Farsight Enclave have been found on a maiden world, something which can not be tolerated. Attacking what appears to be a small Tau outpost, the Eldar bring their full force to bare and get ambushed by the Farsight and his crisis suits. The game is a 2000 point Mealstrom game of Cleanse and Control with vanguard strike deployment.

Renegades vs Mechanicum 2000: Outskirt Raid

The Outskirts of Ferrograde aren't heavily defended and are an ideal place to raid. The forces of the Mechanicum are attacking one such area and the defenders of Ferrograde, the Renegades of the Hereteks, must defend their territory against the onslaught. This is a game of Contact lost, can the power of man and daemon take on the power of the machines?

Renegades vs Knights 1500: Stomp to Victory

My second game with my renegade evolving list, and I face an Army of the Imperium, made up of a Knight detachment and help from the Militarum Tempestus detachment. Can my renegades take on the knights or will then just get trampled underfoot?
