Chaos Renegades: Starting the Heresey

Finally the time has come, the dark gods have blessed me with time and here is the start of my chaos renegade force. It's not much yet, but its a start. First of all i'm going to just pain in small batches of models so i don't get fed up painting. These are my first 5 models.

With my first tournament over with it’s time to look over what I have learnt and what I would have done differently if I was to do it again. First of all the tournament was very fun, I had 3 great games all in 1 day, faced 3 new opponents who played very differently to what I was used to and had to try tactics I have never really used. Even playing at such a different points level was an enjoyment, so I will defiantly have to go to more in the future.

The latest models to come from my painting desk are these 3 wraithguard. As i use them a fair amount in my games so it was about time i started on them. Granted i still have another 7 to paint but i had to start some where. 

40K at the Forge: Game 3 Eldar vs Necrons

Game 3 of 40K at the Forge and I’m not in a bad position with 1 win and 1 draw and only 2 people currently both having 2 wins. After all the games are drawn the 2 players with 2 wins each are facing off, so if i can pull out a victory here i will come second. Who is my opponent? Necrons, i have never played Necrons before so this will be very interesting, i have no knowledge of the rules, but i have a few ideas of what they can do.

Game two of the 1000 point tournament and i'm up against Tyranids on a rather empty table compared to my last game. While this isn't a bad thing for me, as i have a lot of shooting, it means he's not really showed down by terrain either. For game 1 click here.

To start the tournament we all were given a random opponent and assigned a random table, each table being totally different, some with a large amount of terrain, others with little to none, just the luck of the draw, so 

you can’t complain really. My first opponent was randomly selected and I was up against Eldar... well isn’t that just a kick in the nuts.

This is the first post i will put out for the 1000 point tournament that i attended  I am not 100% sure if it has a proper name but i'm going with '40K at the Forge 2013' as that's whats on all the paper work. It was a very fun and entertaining day of 40k and i'm glad that i went and i will try to attend more in teh future. Anyway onto the overview.
